Waterproofing
موانع تسرّب الماء ونضوحهMaterials and systems that stop water ingress under positive and negative pressure in roofs, tanks, basements, foundations and walls.
1 Waterproofing materials
The most widely used materials and systems:
- Latex systems
- Bitumen sheets
- Tight-concrete admixtures
- Crystalline cementitious coatings
- Modified bitumen membranes
- Flexible polyurethane & acrylic membranes
- Geomembranes (PVC, PE, TPE, EPDM, CR)
- Rising damp prevention systems
- Water repellents for walls & façades

2 Waterstops
Flexible strips cast into expansion and construction joints to prevent water passing through them, especially in water-retaining structures.

3 PVC and TPE waterstops
Ribbed flexible profiles that block water through expansion and construction joints. They are available in different shapes and sizes to suit the hydrostatic pressure and the joint type.
4 Swellable waterstops
Strips that swell on contact with water to seal the gaps it would leak through, available in various sizes and swelling ratios. A swellable sealant is also available to fix the strips or to be used on its own.
